Additional players on the online reservation email

This new 3.98 feature adds a new email template and the functionality to send a different confirmation email to the other players [2+] on a booking if their email address is entered by the booking golfer during checkout. The purpose of this feature would be to inform the other players of the booking reservation, on which golf course, and any other information they would need to know, such as rules of play, or what to expect, etc.

Note: This is a course-specific email template assignment from the Online Secondary Player Email field. If left blank, the site will send a default template.

To enable this additional player email feature

1. Go to Starter Hut. Click the Starter Hut icon or select Go to from the top-menu bar and select StarterHut v3.

2. Select Admin | Admin | Course Information.

3. If you have more than one course, select it and then select Edit. This screen displays:

   

4. From the Online secondary player email drop-down, select the email template you would like to send to the second+ player(s).

5. Click Save at the bottom.

Next time you book a tee time online from ORES v5, an email is sent to the second player+.
